Tuition Fees and Scholarships for International Students
The amount of tuition fees depends on the study course, the level of study, your situation and your nationality.
Once admitted in a degree programme at the University of Rennes, French and independent foreign students (students not coming through an exchange programme) have to pay the CVEC, the student and campus life contribution. The amount of the CVEC for the 2023/2024 academic year is €100. The amount of this contribution, which has to be paid once yearly, is reassessed each year.
The French embassies abroad offer numerous scholarship programmes to finance studies in France. On the Campus France scholarship catalogue, you can also consult all the possible funding options, including government scholarships from various countries. The University of Rennes Foundation awards annual merit-based scholarships to international students applying for a Master's Degree.
