My schooling

Moodle is the learning platform of the Université de Rennes 1. It is also your base camp: you will be able to consult all the documents projected and shared by your teachers, as well as all the resources and teaching activities. Focus is the self-training tool deployed by the Service Commun de la Documentation (SCD). You will find guides and tutorials, organised by discipline (law, IT, health, etc.). Thanks to Focus, monitoring, bibliography and advanced research will no longer hold any secrets for you! Your learning agreement includes all the choices you have made in relation to your course of study, your options, your study arrangements... in short, those that you filled in when you registered for the course.

The registrar's offices are the main point of contact between students and the university. If you are studying at an IUT, some of the following tasks are carried out by the department reception desk.

The Université de Rennes 1 offers a wide range of courses, diplomas and preparatory classes.

The legal affairs division of the DAJI, the legal and institutional affairs division, is responsible for managing the disciplinary section. This body studies the cases of students who have not respected the institution's internal regulations and defines the sanctions to be adopted.

As part of its plagiarism prevention policy, the Université de Rennes 1 offers a similarity detection tool to all teachers and staff. Discover the anti-plagiarism tool "Compilatio" used by the teachers of Rennes 1.

Whatever your disability, the Université de Rennes 1 has a team and services available to you throughout the year: tutoring, study assistance, adaptation of course materials, etc.
The student life centre of the DFVU (Department of Training and University Life) will be your main contact to help you adapt your studies to your needs.

Are you involved in community, professional, social or military activities? You may then be able to make adjustments to the organisation and progress of your studies.
Note that you may also benefit from specific rights or the validation of skills, knowledge and aptitudes acquired during this commitment, as part of your university degree.

Because we know that it is not always easy to reconcile studies and intensive sports practice, the Université de Rennes 1 favours access to initial and continuing education for high-level athletes.
You can thus benefit from accommodations in the choice of groups of TD and TP, as well as exemptions for partial exams or for the extension of the years of study.

If you practice a high-level artistic discipline, you will have a specific status to pursue your studies with peace of mind.
Thus, you will be entitled to study or examination accommodations, established during an interview with your training manager.
